Dietary Chlorella Supplement -Dietary Chlorella Supplement- (Chlorella with Chlorella vulgaris extract – CVE) In 1964, Chlorella industry Co., Ltd. (CIC) successfully pioneered the world’s first chlorella mass production in Japan. CHLORENERGY shows its protein digestibility rate of 82% without going through pulverization process. This rate has been confirmed by both the National Institute of Health and Nutrition and Yamagata University. CHLORENERGY is the world’s foremost chlorella with its naturally-occurred extract which is called CVE (Chlorella vulgaris extract) derived from Chlorella vulgaris CK-5 strain. Since CIC’s technology is highly advanced without requiring any pulverization process, CHLORENERGY can successfully keep chlorella-specific wholesome nutrients intact. CIC chooses one with the thinnest Chlorella vulgaris (1/10 the thickness compared with other vulgaris species). Thanks to the unique technology added to this careful selection, CHLORENERGY offers you the cell wall. Instead, CIC chooses one with the thinnest Chlorella vulgaris (1/10 the thickness compared with other vulgaris species). Thanks to the highest digestibility possible with the super natural quality. ol Cell walls go through the state-of-the-art spray-drying process. Cell walls get softer and look melted while maintaining the original shape. Cells look blurred due to the naturally-occurred powerful polysaccharide residue. The surface of the cell walls becomes porous through CIC’s unique spray-drying technique and looks like pinholes. The process achieves the optimum digestibility without going through pulverization process (breaking up cell walls), so as not to sacrifice the cornucopia of the important nutrients within the cell walls. /OL Starting from 1965 through 2007, more than 500 highly respected scientific research and studies have been presented at Japanese medical, pharmaceutical and nutritional m

 High-Performance Membrane Dialyzers

High-Performance Membrane Dialyzers

$233

Dialyzers today are developed with high permeability and biocompatibility in mind, even though the definition of these so-called high-flux dialyzers remains controversial. In the Japanese reimbursement system, dialyzers are divided into five types, ranging from I to V, in accordance with their clearance for beta2-microglobulin (beta2-MG). Classes IV and V (beta2-MG clearance greater or equal to 50 and 70 ml/min, respectively, at a blood flow rate of 200 ml/min) are the most common ones, used in more than 90% of Japanese dialysis patients. Membranes used in types IV and V dialyzers are called high-performance membranes (HPMs) and are characterized by an exceptionally high flux rate, permeability and biocompatibility. The book at hand covers all aspects of these HPM dialyzers, including their definitions and characteristics, clinical experiences and basic investigations. Moreover, historical HPMs and several membranes with special characteristics that are not categorized into classes IV or V are discussed.Providing a summary of commercially available HPM dialyzers, this publication not only serves as a textbook for those interested in state-of the-art dialysis treatment, but is also a concise database of the products available.

 Japanese Art in Detail

Japanese Art in Detail

$18.67

Beginning by asking, What is Japanese art? this book supplies an answer so broad in its reach, so rich in detail, and so extensively illustrated as to give a reader not just a true picture, but also a fine understanding, of Japanese art. Arranged thematically, the book includes chapters on nature and pleasure, landscape and beauty, all framed by the themes of serenity and turmoil, the two poles of Japanese culture ancient and modern. Highlighting–close up and in color–outstanding examples of design and craft in prints, paintings and screens, metalwork, ceramics, wood, stone, and lacquer, Japanese Art in Detail presents each image alongside enlarged details–details that otherwise might be virtually invisible to the naked eye–thus affording intriguing comparisons between seemingly unrelated pieces. Throughout, John Reeve provides cultural context while pointing out exceptional features. Though drawn from one extraordinary source–the British Museum–the specific objects pictured here are representative of many others in public and private collections worldwide, and offer a clear idea, both broad and particular, of what constitutes Japanese art. Most of these images, as well as many of those mentioned, are accessible electronically through the British Museum’s online database, as are several tours linked to recent exhibits.
